Toxic Soup TV

Been a while since I updated the blog, but last Saturday's May 1st screening of "Toxic Soup" at West Virginia State University was a great success with over 100 people in attendance. Thanks to Associate Producers Lisa Bragg and Curtis Baskerville for organizing the screening as well as to Executive Producer Kyle Stratton Crace for attending the Q & A afterward. It was also great to see environmental attorney Kevin Thompson make an appearance. I wanted to go to Institute for the screening, but couldn't make it. Right now I'm tweaking a reality TV show concept for "Toxic Soup" that we registered with the WGAW. I recommend that everyone register their pitches and concepts with the WGAW before submitting them to companies. You can do it quickly and inexpensively online, plus you'll sleep a lot better at night knowing your intellectual property is protected.

But I digress. Part travel show, part "Dirty Jobs", part "Yes Men," Toxic Soup TV will take audiences across all 50 states -- and eventually the world -- to connect the health issues of specific communities with pollution problems in their backyard. So far we have had a lot of interest from a company in Atlanta, but I won't name names right now because I don't want to jinx it. Stay tuned for more. Oh yeah and don't forget to preorder your Toxic Soup DVD!
