On March 8, 2023, Duke University hosted a virtual discussion with Rory Owen Delaney and Andrew Fuller in recognition of our winning the 2021 Human Rights Audio Documentary Award.
The program was led by Duke’s Courtney Lewis, Associate Professor in Cultural Anthropology, and enrolled citizen of the Cherokee Nation.
The panel also featured special guest, Chase Iron Eyes, who is an attorney, activist, and member of the Oglala Lakota and Standing Rock Sioux Tribes.
Breaking Brooklyn
Just got a copy of the official "Breaking Brooklyn" film poster. "Breaking Brooklyn" is the feature film that I wrote with my old neighbor from Bed-Stuy, director / choreographer Paul Becker. The movie stars Academy Award winner Louis Gossett Jr, among others. No word on the release date yet.
