Good news. I’m excited to announce that I am a co-producer of Bomb It 2, the sequel to the hit global graffiti documentary Bomb It, directed by Jon Reiss. Bomb It 2 is due out in the Fall of 2012 and will be released by New Video on iTunes. The documentary features street artists including Klone, KnowHope, GreatBates, Zero, Darbotz, Killer Gerbil, Bon, Alex Face, Sloke, Husk Mit Navn, Ash, Phibs, Stormie Mills, Beejoir, Vexta as Jon Reiss travels to Bangkok, Jakarta, Singapore, Hong Kong, Tel Aviv, the Palestinian refugee camps on the West Bank, Perth, Melbourne, Copenhagen, Chicago and Austin.
I’m especially excited because the experience gained in releasing Bomb It 2 is going to be invaluable as we gear up to release the Graff Lab Movie, a documentary about the unique street art of the Pico Union neighborhood in downtown LA. Graff Lab Movie is currently in the capable editing hands of Man Bites Dog Film’s newest addition to the filmmaking family Aaron Mikel.
