Hon. Rory Owen Delaney
Producer / Director

Rory grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. He holds a B.A. in English from Yale University and an M.F.A. in Dramatic Writing from New York University. Rory wrote, directed and edited the short documentary MOUNTAIN MAN, which was an Official Selection of the 2011 Raindance, Santa Cruz and Culture Unplugged Film Festivals and winner of the Silver Sierra Award at the 2011 Yosemite Film Festival. Delaney also wrote, directed and edited the feature documentary TOXIC SOUP, which was an Official Selection of the 2010 Atlanta Film Festival, New Jersey Film Festival, Twin Cities Film Festival, and the Louisville International Festival of Films, among others. TOXIC SOUP made its national television broadcast premiere on Free Speech TV in June 2011. Delaney is also an associate producer of BOMB IT 2, the follow-up to Jon Reiss’ seminal global graffiti documentary BOMB IT. Rory also wrote the short film ROSY, Official Selection of the 2008 Florida and Nantucket film festivals. ROSY was recognized with a screenwriting craft award at the First Run Film Festival and went on to screen at the DGA-West in Los Angeles. In 2010 Delaney was named a Kentucky Colonel by Governor Steve Beshear. Rory lives in LA with his wife Maya Meinert and their two pugs. In 2012 Rory became an official member of the Writers Guild of America’s Nonfiction Writers Caucus.


Wade Smith
Producer / Marketing Director

Wade grew up in Paintsville, KY, a small town in eastern Kentucky. Smith is an environmental consultant who has worked on some of the largest environmental litigation cases in the USA. In 2008, Wade was contacted by director Rory Owen Delaney to work as a producer on the documentary TOXIC SOUP. Since then, Wade has become the marketing brains behind Man Bites Dog Films. His films have screened at the Raindance Film Festival, Santa Cruz Film Festival, Atlanta Film Festival, Twin Cities Film Festival, Louisville International Festival of Films and New Jersey Film Festival, among others. TOXIC SOUP made its national television broadcast premiere on Free Speech TV in June 2011. Smith and Delaney are collaborating on a feature adaptation of Sally Denton’s book, The Bluegrass Conspiracy, as well as the forthcoming college basketball documentary RED VERSUS BLUE. Outside of producing, Wade holds a private pilot license, choreographs stunts and is a precision driving professional.


P.G. Banker
Writer / Producer

P.G. was born and raised in Nashville, TN. He studied music and creative writing at King’s College in London, England, and graduated from Boston College with a B.A. in Music and English Literature. P.G. wrote and produced TOXIC SOUP, which was an Official Selection of the 2010 Atlanta Film Festival, New Jersey Film Festival, Twin Cities Film Festival, and the Louisville International Festival of Films, among others. TOXIC SOUP made its national television broadcast premiere on Free Speech TV in June 2011. P.G. also wrote and produced the short documentary MOUNTAIN MAN, which was an official selection of the 2011 Raindance Film Festival, Santa Cruz Film Festival and Culture Unplugged Film Festival. MOUNTAIN MAN received the Silver Sierra Award at the 2011 Yosemite Film Festival. Previously, P.G. programmed, operated and designed content for an internal television network at Nashville-based shoe retail corporation Genesco Inc. In 2012 P.G. became an official member of the Writers Guild of America’s Nonfiction Writers Caucus.


Aaron Mikel
DP / Editor / Associate Producer

Aaron is a videographer and editor out of the Louisvile, KY area. His is finishing his degree at Ball State University where he will graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecomunications with an emphasis on documentary filmmaking.
